OUR MISSION It is our mission to promote the increased efficiency and profitability of solo attorneys and small firms by providing exceptional customized, confidential support on an as-needed basis. ABOUT OUR FOUNDER Kimberly Myers, a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, founded Ad Hoc Legal Support, Ltd. in 2007 to fill the need in small and solo practices for off-site, intermittent support. Kimberly has worked with small firms and solo practitioners since 2003 in a variety of legal areas, including Elder Law, Estate Planning, Family Law, Corporations and more. She co-authored an article on Illinois Series LLCs published in the January 2007 edition of the Illinois Law Journal and is Westlaw certified in legal research. OUR BUSINESS PREMISE Our service model is designed specifically to meet the demands of law firms with little or no on-site support staff. Often the constraints of space, finances or an inconsistent workload prevent such firms from hiring staff. However, delegating duties that do not require the hands-on personal attention of a licensed attorney from start to finish can help you realize greater earnings by reducing the number of hours spent on below-hourly rate tasks. Doing so can free up your time to be spent on those matters that require your expertise and earn you your full hourly rate. We do not provide temp services. There are no term contracts. You do not need to supply office space and equipment to our staff. You simply call or email our office to discuss your support needs and how we may meet them at any given time. While most of our assignments are accomplished outside our clients' facilities, on-site training and assignments may be considered. |

| TESTIMONIAL Working with Ad Hoc Legal Support, Ltd., I enjoy the benefit of receiving only the assistance I need without the headache of training someone and the overhead of employing full time staff. This gives me more time to focus on marketing my business and providing service to my clients. It's a great return on a small investment! -- Randall H. Borkus, Esq. |
